Silica fume for rural roads commercial concrete (Silica ash for commercial concerete:90%,92%95%) it can be specifically added to commercial concrete used in the construction of rural roads.Wet maintenance for a minimum of 7 days has largely resolved or mitigated the cracking problem. However, some of the cracking that has occurred on some of the longer span bridges has not been explained or prevented by construction procedures. Such cracking also occurs in concrete that does not contain microsilica fume, so it may be necessary to look more at the structural aspects rather than the material. Research in this area is ongoing. Microsilica concrete must be properly cured. Without curing, the benefits that microsilica powders bring to concrete cannot be realised. If the requirement for proper curing is not included in concrete technical standards and if curing requirements are not implemented in projects, microsilica-powdered concrete is best avoided.
