ASTM A192 Standard Carbon Steel Pipe

ASTM A192 standard carbon steel pipe is a seamless carbon steel boiler tube for high-pressure service. In terms of chemical composition, its carbon content is between 0.06%-0.18%, manganese content is 0.27%-0.63%, silicon content does not exceed 0.25%, and phosphorus and sulfur content do not exceed 0.035%. In terms of mechanical properties, the tensile strength is not less than 325MPa, the yield strength is not less than 180MPa, and the elongation is not less than 35%.The steel pipe is usually manufactured by hot rolling or cold drawing, and the size range is generally 12.7mm to 177.8mm in outer diameter and the minimum wall thickness is 2.2mm to 25.4mm.
